About BACWO

BACWO (Bangur Avenue Children Welfare Organisation)is a non-government non-profit organisation based out of Kolkata in the state of West of Bengal. Kolkata city, erstwhile Calcutta, is also known in INDIA as "City of Joy" and has history of 300 years.

BACWO (Bangur Avenue Children Welfare Organisation) established in year 2015, aims to work for an underprivileged section of our society and committed to reach to last person in the queue, who is waiting for a hand extending help from our society, in order to come to terms with life. Inspired by one of the greatest son of our soil, Swami Vivekananda and Raja Ram Mohan Roy for their contribution to our society through their philanthropic activities, BACWO engages with the underprivileged children in the field of education and sport. We aim to engage further with varied social activities in coming days.
